Mrs. R
Mrs. R. has battled breast cancer for eight years. She is the mother of one pre-teenage daughter and triplet sons in their elementary school years. She has undergone multiple chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Her battle has been a struggle due to the household needs, age of the children, and difficulty of the family being on this long journey.
During this journey the family has been connected with a church in their community. The MultiCare Regional Cancer Center Katterhagen Resource Center Navigation Team provided education to the patient, resources for the children, financial support to the family, and opportunity to provide feedback to the clinic through an advisory committee.
Mrs. R. has shared how grateful she is for the support she has been given and has invited new patients to participate fully in the services offered.
