Women's Heart Center
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. But for women, the symptoms of heart disease can be different. The issues surrounding the disease are often different, too.
The MultiCare Women's Heart Center seeks to identify women at risk for heart disease, and provides education and treatment if needed. The center's goals are to improve cardiac health, reduce risk, and improve quality of life for the women of our community.
The center draws on the latest, most up-to-date national research and guidelines. It provides its services in a single convenient location at Tacoma General Hospital.
