MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center's Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery Clinic provides evaluation and treatment for infants, children and teens whose growing bodies need repair or reconstruction for a wide variety of reasons.
Some may be present when your child is born. Others, such as scars, may come at a later time. We use a team approach to treat your child when these conditions affect how they look and how their body works.
We provide children and teens reconstructive or corrective surgery to improve the appearance and/or formation of children with cleft lip and palate, as well as trauma and burns, scars, lesions of the skin and more complex structural abnormalities of the head and face, such as:
- Benign and malignant neoplasms of the scalp and skin
- Cleft lip and/or cleft palate
- Cranial abnormalities
- Cystic Hygroma
- Dog bite
- Ear deformities
- Facial deformities
- Hypertrophic scar or atrophic scar
- Nasal or Deviated Septum Deformity
- Polydactyl fingers and or toes
- Post-traumatic deformities
For cleft lip and cleft palate patients, The Southwest Washington Maxillofacial Review Board
coordinates treatment for children up to age 21.
