Shine A Light On Child Abuse

The 6th Annual "Shine a Light on Child Abuse" inservice is presented by the Children's Advocacy Center of Pierce County.

Featuring topics related to recognition and response of child maltreatment:

  • Offender characteristics
  • Laws regarding sexual abuse
  • Treatment for sexual assault victims
  • Child fatality review
  • Abuse prevention
  • Multidisciplinary case studies on sexual abuse and physical abuse
