In-Depth Weight Assessment
The In-Depth Weight Assessment includes a Medical Assessment and Clinic Visit.
The Medical Assessment is a thorough physical exam that evaluates a child’s health in relationship to weight and identifies health issues that may be contributing to the weight, that are worsened by weight and may require consideration in a child’s treatment. A primary care provider can complete the assessment or you can chose to have it completed by the Mary Bridge Pediatric Weight Management Program’s endocrinologist.
The Family Assessments includes a Body Measurement and Fitness Assessment, a Lifestyle and Psycho/Social Assessment, Goal Setting, Take Home Summary Report and referral, if needed.
