Mary Bridge Hematology and Oncology Program
Comprehensive Hematology/Oncology Services
The Mary Bridge Hematology/Oncology Program offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient care including medical, surgical and support services for children from birth to age 18 with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
Leading Treatment Protocols
Mary Bridge Oncology Clinic is part of the Children’s Oncology Group, an international group of pediatric cancer programs that undertakes the latest clinical trials and evaluates the newest cancer treatments for many types of childhood cancer.
The Family-Centered Care Difference
At Mary Bridge, our focus is on family-centered care. Since frequent hematology/ oncology clinic visits can be difficult for both children and their family, we emphasize outpatient therapy with follow-up home care.
We offer a Parent Support Group, a Sibling Group and hold special events for patients so they can just be kids, along with their families, where they can feel like part of the team.

Mary Bridge pediatric hematologists/oncologists, Robert Irwin, MD, Ron Louie, MD and Bill Thomas, MD, pediatric rehabilitation specialist, Robert Cooper, MD, a nurse case manager, and a social worker from the Regional Hemophilia Treatment Center at the Puget Sound Blood Center staff the clinic.
