Clinics & Outreach

We see patients in the nephrology clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Tacoma.  We also have outreach clinics in Silverdale and Olympia once a month.

Inpatient Care

Our strong relationship with our colleagues at Seattle Children’s Hospital allows us to provide in-person inpatient pediatric nephrology care at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital every day of the year. Our families also have access to a pediatric nephrologist 24 hours a day.

Transplant Services

Our kidney transplant center is Seattle Children’s Hospital.  We also participate in the pre-transplant evaluations and are actively involved during the immediate post-transplant period. We work closely with both the transplant providers and the families so that we can determine the best timing in which to resume ongoing care of our patients and their new kidney transplant.

Communication

Communication with our surgical colleagues is crucial for the care of many of our children with structural abnormalities. We maintain a special relationship with the general pediatric surgeons and pediatric urologists in both the south and north Puget Sound area.
