Easter Bunny makes appearance at Mary Bridge Health Center
Children who visited the Mary Bridge Health Center on Friday received Easter gift baskets and pictures with the Easter Bunny, thanks to the generosity of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
"Mary Bridge has always been special," said JoAnna Pellerin, state madam president of the FOA, who lives in Port Orchard and is a member of the Bremerton Aerie #192. "We love children and we want to do what we can for them."
In between talking with children and handing out gift baskets, the Easter Bunny even found time to pose for pictures with Pellerin and Mike Simonds, state area president from the Skagit Valley Aerie 3242.
In all, the Eagles brought 120 gift baskets for the children. This is the third year the Eagles have brought some Easter cheer to Mary Bridge.
