Mary Bridge is the only pediatric hospital in the Pacific Northwest and one of only 12 children’s hospitals in the country to receive this recognition.
The popular Christmas Rush Fun Run and Walk, an annual Kent tradition for 30 years, returns Saturday, Dec. 8, with MultiCare Health System as the title sponsor. The event is free for kids ages 13 and younger, thanks to MultiCare. Online registration is available at Active.com.
MultiCare Health System, a not-for-profit health system, has announced plans to purchase the hospital and clinic assets of Auburn Regional Medical Center from Universal Health Services Inc. The sale is subject to regulatory review, which is expected to take place by late summer.
A $1 million donation from Norman and Barbara Simon will improve access to holistic care as part of cancer treatment at MultiCare Regional Cancer Center locations throughout the South Sound.
