When a child needs help mastering movement or developmental skills, families turn to Physical Therapy Services at Mary Bridge for personalized care. Our highly experienced pediatric physical therapists use play and exercise to improve strength, coordination, balance and range of motion in children ages birth to 18 years.
We serve children with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to:
- Neuromuscular disorders (cerebral palsy, spina bifida, brain injury)
- Developmental delay and coordination disorders
- Genetic disorders (muscular dystrophy, Downs Syndrome )
- Orthopedic disorders (torticollis, brachial plexus injury, trauma, sports injuries)

Aquatic Therapy
Using the therapeutic value of warm water combined with experienced therapists, aquatic therapy offers individual treatment designed to address a child’s specific needs by focusing on a child’s motor control, strength and flexibility. Aquatic therapy is located in our technically advanced SwimEx® therapy pool at the MultiCare Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Center in Tacoma.Equipment Clinic
