Special ServicesHaving a child who needs heart care is stressful enough. At Mary Bridge, you'll find a variety of services available to answer questions, provide information and connect you to other resources.
Finance and BillingIf your child's care included a hospital stay, you will be mailed an itemized bill approximately two weeks after discharge. If you have insurance, your insurance provider will be billed at that time. You also will receive bills from the physician, laboratory, and any specialists who provided services to you during your stay.
If you have any questions about your bill, call the Billing Department at 253-459-7956. If your child needs heart care, but you don't feel that you can afford it, a financial counselor at Mary Bridge will be glad to work with you.
Interpreter ServicesAny Mary Bridge patient who does not speak English may request an interpreter through his or her physician. The physician's office will notify the hospital that an interpreter is needed and one will be provided. Interpreters make sure that a language barrier does not complicate the relationship between patient and caregivers and ensures that patients have a complete understanding of all medical procedures.
