Free inspections and summer evening hours help keep kids safe

“Is my car seat safe?”

This is a common question many parents ask. Safety guidelines change, recalls happen and kids grow. It can get confusing fast.

The certified child passenger safety technicians at the MultiCare Mary Bridge Center for Childhood Safety can help. Bring your car seat and vehicle’s owner's manual to one of three MultiCare locations during inspection times for this free service. Technicians will teach you how to install your car seat correctly and answer your questions about child passenger safety.

Extended daylight in the summer evenings means extended inspection times. Starting April 16, Mary Bridge will host six Wednesday evening inspection events from 4 to 6 pm at the Mary Bridge Safe and Sound Building located at 1112 S 5th Street, Tacoma.
