Recipe: Delectable yogurt dip
Fresh fruit dips do not have to be high in calories. We have combined low-fat versions of cream cheese and yogurt to make this creamy dip for your favorite fruits.
8 ounces low-fat cream cheese, softened
1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (or to taste)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon almond extract
Blend all ingredients together. Serve with assorted fresh fruits.
Makes 10 to 12 servings. Per serving: 70 calories, 3.5g fat, 2g saturated fat, 15mg cholesterol, 130mg sodium, 5g carbohydrates, 0g fiber, 3g protein.
