We are dedicated to the premise that returning to work is essential for recovery.
Our team of physicians, nurses and staff are dedicated to treating work-related injuries and helping our patients recover and return to work as soon as safely possible. We welcome walk-in new injury visits, and provide appointments for additional occupational health services.
Our patients are employed by hundreds of companies in Pierce and South King Counties, including MultiCare Health System.
Working with patients and their employers
In additional to providing exceptional medical care, MultiCare providers work with our patient's employer to explore options for the earliest safe return to duty, and assist with managing worker compensation claims.
Every MultiCare provider is a member of the Washington State L&I's Medical Provider Network, and our team is experienced in collaborating with all stakeholders in a workers' compensation claim — Labor & Industries, self-insured carriers, third party administrators, and especially our patient and their employer.
Easy access to specialty clinics
As part of MultiCare, a leading integrated health system based right here in Puget Sound, we have hundreds of specialty clinics if needed: physical therapy, medical imaging, surgeons, and much more.
When an injury is after hours or more serious, they can be treated at one of our nine Urgent Care Clinics with evening and weekend hours, or one of our 24/7 emergency departments. Follow-up care will be provided by one of our occupational medicine providers.
As a national leader in electronic medical record technology, our patients' treatment records are available to every MultiCare provider helping them recover and return to work, and patients can access their records online through our MyChart web portal.

MultiCare providers are in the new Washington L&I Medical Provider Network.
Beginning January 1, 2013, an injured worker can still see any doctor for their initial office or emergency room visit. But for additional care, they will need to transfer to a medical provider in the new L&I network. Our providers are all In the Network.
