In a collaborative effort with Franciscan Health System and TRA Medical Imaging, and with support and funding from the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation, we have worked to create an independent, centralized breast health imaging facility for the benefit of the entire community.The non-profit Carol Milgard Breast Center, named to honor the spirit of a long-time Tacoma resident, philanthropist, and 30-year breast cancer survivor, is uniquely positioned to deliver the highest quality diagnostic care while significantly decreasing screening to diagnosis times.
MultiCare also offers comprehensive breast health services – from education, prevention and screening programs to advanced diagnostics, treatment and support. Choose from convenient locations throughout Pierce and South King counties. It’s all part of our commitment to better breast health for the community.
