We believe that treating cancer is about more than medical treatment. It is about incorporating exercise, yoga and a healthy lifestyle into your treatment plan. We offer a variety of support services through our Katterhagen Cancer Resource Center.

Leading the Way

Cancer care has come a long way since MultiCare first began offering oncology services in 1982, particularly in the area of technology. If you’re facing cancer, you want the latest technology to help diagnose and treat the disease. Recent innovations include a new alternative to brain surgery, improved methods for treating and detecting breast cancer, and a more precise way to provide radiation treatment.

MultiCare Regional Cancer Center is now a network affiliate of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, giving South Puget Sound residents convenient access to the latest clinical trials and world renowned expertise.

The addition of the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center will add five locations to the SCCA network. They are located at Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, Covington MultiCare Clinic, Auburn MultiCare Clinic and the MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park.
