MultiCare is proud to help our employees develop new skills and advance their careers. Here are just a few of the programs in place to help you achieve your career goals, whatever they may be.

Institute for Learning and Development

MultiCare has been recognized as one of the best learning organizations in the world by the American Society for Training and Development. Our Institute for Learning and Development (ILD) offers many courses tailored to MultiCare employees.

Tuition Assistance

Employees enrolled in an accredited college, university or technical/vocational school and pursuing a degree or approved specialty certificate can qualify for up to $3,000 per calendar year, subject to the availability of funds.

Reimbursement available each calendar year:

  • 100% of eligible expenses up to $3,000 for employees who are regularly scheduled to work 64 to 80 hours per pay period
  • 50% of eligible expenses up to $2,000 for employees who are regularly scheduled to work 48 to 63 hours per pay period
  • 50% of eligible expenses up to $1,000 for employees who are regularly scheduled to work 32 to 47 hours per pay period
  • For employees covered by collective bargaining agreements, the contracts will determine the level of reimbursement available and the criteria for receiving it

On-Site Career Development Specialist

Once a week, a career development specialist from WorkSource is available to coach employees on advancement opportunities and related training programs to help them achieve their career goals.

Leadership Development Team

MultiCare employs a team of leadership development professionals who offer programs such as:

  • Leadership Legacy, a five-day offsite course
  • Executive Coaching
  • Team Building
  • Several other targeted training courses
