Philosophy of Care: I have become firmly convinced in the power of prevention. I see this in my daily practice of medicine, as well as in my various roles in health care management. Staying proactive and influencing good behavior is far more rewarding than procrastination and avoidance. Although this requires more effort at the outset, the long-term benefit is enormous.

This sort of setting is rare, where we have control over how we do our work while also being supported by a larger non-profit health system.
