Philosophy of Care: My philosophy of care revolves around partnering in prevention with patients. My goal is to be a guide in healthy lifestyles, care coordination, and risk management. I emphasize the value of upstream prevention beginning with nutrition, exercise and stress management. When health care becomes complicated, from specialist appointments to unexpected hospital events, patients need help navigating the confusing world of modern health care. As a Family Medicine physician I strive to be a translator and care coordinator for each patient. With the ongoing changes to our health care system, I am excited to be a part of MultiCare, where clinic and system-wide innovation is embraced and patient outcomes are the highest priority.
Why did you choose EPFM residency: From the front-office staff to the resident and attending physicians, everyone has a positive attitude and are excited to care for patients. I noticed this on my interview day, and I am continually impressed by my co-workers. Resident learning is a priority here, and the support by attending physicians and clinical staff is a great source of confidence for me.
