Our radiation oncologists oversee all aspects of radiation treatments including determining the dosage, treatment schedules and managing side effects.
Working under the supervision of a radiation oncologist, our highly skilled radiologists or radiation therapists deliver the radiation treatments. They observe the clinical progress of patients undergoing radiation therapy and maintain daily patient records.
Playing an important role in the CyberKnife treatment is the Radiation Physics and Dosimetry Technician. They assist with the treatment planning process and ensure that treatment is delivered according to the plan. They also assist with the machine setup and monitor the quality of treatment.
The CyberKnife is located at the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center at Tacoma General Hospital.
