Volunteer Opportunities 

Pre-Event Set Up: Includes filling swag bags, cleaning and organizing glassware, and other misc. duties to prepare for the event.

Bid Spotters: Assist auctioneer and professional spotters by noting numbers on bid cards raised and calling auctioneer's attention. 

Check Out Assistants: Assist in getting auction items from safekeeping area to guests when they check out. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift.  

Coat Check - Early: Greet guests, check and hang coats/wraps of guests. 

Coat Check - Late: Greet guests, check and return coats/wraps to guests. 

Dining Room Attendant: Monitor entrance to dining area, allowing for guests to only place personal items at their table(s) but not admitting anyone (unless handicapped) to stay in. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift. 

Live Auction Runners: Take LIVE auction bid sheets to the bank for data entry as each item is sold. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift. 

Parking Greeter - Gold Gate: Guide guests from parking area to the Showplex. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift. 

Parking Greeter - Purple Gate: Guide guests from parking area to the Showplex. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift. 

Parking Greeter - Orange Gate: Guide guests from parking area to the Showplex. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift. 

Registration Assistant: Assist in handing out bid bracelets to registration clerks/guests. 

Scone and Gift Bag Distribution: Hand good-bye scones to each departing guest while they wait for their car to brought by valet or as they are leaving the Showplex. 

Silent Auction Monitors/Receipt Runners: Ensure silent auction closes, keep track of bid sheet information, deliver silent auction items to safekeeping area, assist in moving LIVE auction items to staging area, package merchandising props and store in event office. Position requires you to be on your feet for full shift.

Silent Auction Promoters: Let auctioneer know which items need to be hyped during silent auction. 

Where the Need is Greatest - Early Shift: Fill-in as needed. 

Where the Need is Greatest - Late Shift: Fill-in as needed.
