K. Linnea Welton, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with specialty training in sports medicine and hip preservation. She is one of few surgeons who can perform complex hip arthroscopy and one of even fewer who perform complex realignment procedures of the pelvis and femur.
By using a minimally-invasive approach, Dr. Welton can reduce trauma to surrounding tissues, resulting in smaller surgical scars. Her research in the field of hip preservation has focused on the development of many surgical improvements and she continues to strive toward improving the standards in the field. Away from work, she is an avid backcountry skier, mountaineer and rock climber who also enjoys paddleboarding, gardening and cooking.
The conditions Dr. Welton treats include:
Activity-related knee and shoulder injuries
