Miguel Ordonez, M.D., joined MultiCare Rockwood in July 2013. He received his undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, and his medical degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala. Dr. Ordonez completed a residency in Internal Medicine at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX, as well as a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of South Alabama Hospitals in Mobile, AL.
He also completed a training program in the application of stem cell transplantation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Lied Transplant Center in Omaha, NE. Dr. Ordonez is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of many organizations including the American Association of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians.
