Provider Choices

Giving birth at Good Samaritan Hospital

At MultiCare, we believe that you deserve care that gives you choices, puts you in control and gives you the pregnancy and childbirth experience you want.

Our Family Birth Center at Good Samaritan Hospital offers private, modern birth suites with jetted tubs for hydrotherapy. Recent enhancements include support for Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), wireless monitoring for laboring mobility, gentle C-sections (by request) and nitrous oxide as a pain management option.

We also offer a wide range of classes that help you get ready for your new baby.

Choose the provider and location that's right for you.

Our Certified Nurse Midwives offer women a more tailored, holistic approach to labor and delivery, within the safety of a hospital setting.

Obstetrician-Gynecologists (OB/GYNs)

Obstetrician-gynecologists, or OB/GYNs, are doctors who specialize in high- and low-risk pregnancy, or prenatal care and childbirth.

Family Medicine Obstetricians (FMOBs)

Family medicine doctors trained in obstetrics, or FMOBs, care for you before, during and after you give birth. They can deliver your baby and then become your baby’s doctor, too.
