Thank you for your interested in a rotation at EPFM.
East Pierce Family Medicine offers 4th year Medical Student rotations to students in good academic standing. Applications submitted by February 1st are reviewed and a limited number of students are offered rotations. Selections are based upon materials submitted and fit with our mission. Students not selected for a rotation and those submitting after February 1st, will be considered as rotations become available.
We strive to ensure students receive a realistic, hands-on family practice experience and we accomplish that goal by having you spend time in our clinic and in the hospital.
2021 COVID-19 Updates
One of the recommendations from the "Final Report and Recommendations for Medical Education Institutions of LCME-Accredited, U.S. Osteopathic, and Non-U.S. Medical School Applicants" is that for the Class of 2021 "away" rotations be discouraged. Based on that recommendation, we can only accept applications from students who attend the following schools: UW, WSU, PNWU, ATSU Renton Campus, Western-COMP Lebanon campus (King/Pierce County Students).
