General Cancer Support Group - Tacoma
The goals of this cancer support group are to provide a chance to talk with other survivors, to receive and offer others support, to learn stress management techniques, to provide education/information sharing, and allow an opportunity for participants to tell their story.
When: meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Who: It is open to anyone touched by cancer: patients, survivors, family, friends, etc.
Where: It is located in the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center in the Katterhagen Resource Center, 1003 South 5th Street, 4th Floor of the Milgard Pavillion, Tacoma, WA 98405

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Oncology Social Worker with over seven years experience working solely with cancer patients and their supporters.
