Tai Chi Chih

For anyone impacted by cancer, T’ai Chi Chih, Joy Through Movement, is a series of gentle movements that stimulate, circulate, and balance internal energy (Chi). Beneficial results of improved balance and feeling of calmness is obtained regardless of a person’s age, physical condition, or agility. Because it is practiced with a relaxed body and focused mind, it is considered a moving meditation. Consisting of just 19 independent movements and one pose, it is quite easy to learn and fun to do! No special clothing or equipment is needed; dress in comfortable layers. TCC can be practiced while sitting with equal benefits.

Donna Jungbluth, PTA is an accredited T’ai Chi Chih instructor. Donna has practiced this moving meditation for more than 10 years and has been an instructor in a variety of health settings as well as teaching individual students. “No one ever got full from just reading the menu” is one of her favorite sayings to help remember to take the time to learn new things.
