Event Information
 

  • What is Mary Bridge Children’s Festival of Trees?

    Mary Bridge Children’s Festival of Trees is an annual holiday fundraising event benefiting Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Health Network.
     
  • How will this year be different than previous years?

    Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be hosting one virtual event this year, Festival of Trees Gala, on December 5.
     
  • How can I participate in the virtual Gala event?

    Register here for the Gala event. One registration will get you access to our silent auction opening November 23 as well as our live tree auction and Amy Grant concert on December 5. Reservations are $50 per link. Your link will allow you to bid on items and make unique donations. If there are two people in your household who would like to bid separately, you will need to purchase two separate links.
     
  • Are there other ways to participate besides the virtual Gala event?

  • What are the rules of the auction?

    The highest bids submitted into the online auction are legal contracts to purchase the item.

    Credit cards on file will be charged upon auction end.If payment is unsuccessful within 72 hours of the close of the auction, any items won may go to the next highest bidder at the discretion of the organization.

    All purchases made are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted.

    The Mary Bridge Children's Foundation reserves the right to add or withdraw items from the auction without notice before final bids are made.

    The Mary Bridge Children's Foundation neither warrants nor represents and in no way shall be responsible for, the correctness of descriptions or conditions of items or arrangements.

Registration
 

  • What is included in my registration?

    Your $50 registration grants you one bid number, access to silent auction opening November 23 as well as our live tree auction and Amy Grant concert on December 5.
     
  • Do I need to register every guest?

    If you plan on watching the event with others, you only need one registration to access the live event. However, if each guest would like their own bid number in order to bid and donate during the auction and Fund-A-Need, they will need to purchase a separate reservation.
     
  • I’ve paid the $50 for my registration. Am I ready to go?

    Not yet! Once you’ve paid for your registration(s), you will receive a text or an email with a link. Follow that link to set up your login information and complete your registration. You will need to log in on the night of the event to view the live event.

  • Does my donation at registration count towards the Fund-A-Need goal?

    Yes, if you choose to make a donation when you register, that gift will go towards our Fund-A-Need goal to expand access to care for all children. You can also wait until the live event on December 5 to make your donation.

Event Day
 

  • How do I access the program on event day? Will I receive a link?

    On December 5, simply go to festival.maxgiving.bid/ and log in using the credentials you set up at reservation. The live stream will be available to watch beginning with our preshow at 6pm.

  • How do I make a bid during the live auction?

    We recommend having multiple devices. One device (a laptop or tv) that is streaming the event and one device (a laptop or cell phone) that you can use to make your bids.

    For instance, you can play the event on a tv or laptop and all guests can log in and bid using their cell phones.
     
  •  Will I receive a tax receipt?

    You will receive a transaction-based receipt once your card is successfully charged.  Tax receipts will be emailed following the auction.
     
  • I won an auction item! How will I receive my purchase?

    Large tree delivery will begin Sunday, December 6 at 10am and run through 7pm.  Trees will be moved into the buyer's room of choice, however, tree angeling by the designer will not be available this year. Buyers will be responsible for unwrapping and fluffing trees. 

    Mini tree and wreath pickup will be available starting Monday, December 7 at 9am by appointment only.  Delivery arrangements may be made at that time. Any additional shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
