One of the best ways to protect yourself from flu is to get an influenza vaccine. With flu season approaching, and with COVID-19 still in our communities, now is the ideal time to get a flu shot. We encourage all patients to get immunized before the end of October in order to be protected.
MultiCare offers flu shots for both adults and children at a wide range of locations throughout the Puget Sound and Inland Northwest regions.
We offer both walk-in and appointment options for getting your flu shot in the Inland Northwest region. We are also offering a series of flu vaccine clinics for established MultiCare Rockwood Clinic patients.
MultiCare Rockwood Clinic will be holding Saturday flu vaccine clinics at four locations starting on Saturday, Oct.3. The clinics are available by appointment only for established Rockwood Clinic patients. To make an appointment, please call 509-233-5102.
Note that these are not free vaccine clinics. The flu vaccine is covered for most insurance plans.
We also offer both walk-in and appointment options for getting your flu shot at many of our Puget Sound region locations.
MultiCare and Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network are partnering with the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department to offer a number of drive-thru flu vaccine clinics for children and adults throughout Pierce County this fall. The clinics will enable anyone 6 months or older to get vaccinated without leaving the car. Children and uninsured adults will be vaccinated for free. The clinics will bill insurance for adults with coverage.
The vaccine clinic schedule is available to the public on the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department’s website.
