The Washington Health Benefit Exchange is now open, offering new options in health insurance for consumers.
Qualified Health Plan Open Enrollment is Nov. 1, 2016, to Jan. 31, 2017.
Washington residents who do not have other options to access health insurance can visit Washington Health Plan Finder to learn more about available options or find out whether they are eligible for expanded Medicaid.
Visit Washington Health Plan Finder to enroll online, or to search for local insurance brokers and navigators to answer your questions and provide you with in-person enrollment assistance.

Individuals who wish to enroll in a plan through Washington Health Plan Finder that uses MultiCare Connected Care’s network of physicians and services have several options. BridgeSpanHealth and Regence Blue Shield have partnered with MultiCare Connected Care as its exclusive Pierce County hospital and physician network. Premera Blue Cross is offering a MultiCare Connected Care physician network and MultiCare hospitals as the exclusive facilities of Pierce County.
These health plans offer other products on the exchange, so be sure to look for the plans that include MultiCare Connected Care.
Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) and Molina also provide access to MultiCare as a part of their broader network options through the state health insurance exchange.
The Affordable Care Act has required individuals in Washington to have health insurance since January 1, 2014. This is part of a nationwide effort to make health care more accessible for those who do not have access to care.
