Making health care more accessible to everyone

In 2014, the Seattle Center Foundation launched the first Seattle/King County Clinic, a four-day, volunteer-driven health care clinic held in Key Arena at Seattle Center. Tapping into resources from area health care organizations, civic agencies, non-profits, private businesses and other volunteers, the clinic provides a full range of free dental, vision and medical care, helping underserved and vulnerable populations in the region get access to the medical care they need.

The Seattle/King County Clinic has been held annually since then, providing more than $17 million in direct services to 20,000 patients thanks to the efforts of 17,000+ volunteers and support from organizations across the region.

Here’s a breakdown of the clinic’s achievements in 2018:

The Seattle/King County clinic was a recipient of a 2018 grant through MultiCare’s Community Partnership Fund. We’re proud to support the clinic’s work in providing crucial health care services to our region.

Due to the construction of a new arena at Seattle Center there will not be a Clinic in 2019. But the Seattle Center Foundation is exploring options for a different location for a spring 2020 clinic. Learn more by visiting the Seattle/King County Clinic’s website.
