MultiCare Inland NW has a commitment to community, with an understanding of rural healthcare needs and providing quality healthcare for the Inland Northwest. We recognize the importance of continuing medical education as an integral and collaborative component of the provision of quality health care and that the professional responsibility of physicians requires continuous learning throughout their careers.


The MultiCare Health System CME Department is accredited by the Washington State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME Process:

MultiCare CME is accredited by the Washington State Medical Association (WSMA) to provide continuing medication education for physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other health care professionals. MHS is required to adhere to the WSMA and Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Essentials and Standards for Commercial Support.

Getting Started:

Complete and submit the MHS INW CME Proposal Form and submit to the CME Coordinator. The CME Coordinator will then work with you on how to proceed. Please note, you will want to submit the Proposal Form a minimum of 3 months before the date of the activity, as this will allow for 2 months to complete the application and 1 month for the CME Committee to review and possibly approve it.

Additional Notes:

  • Disclosure of Financial Interest Forms must be completed for anyone who has the ability to affect content of the activity.
  • MHS INW CME must review and approve publicity materials prior to posting and/or distribution.
  • Activities must be developed in accordance with ACCME and WSMA criteria, the
  • Standards for Commercial Support, Stark and Anti-Kickback Laws.
