The Pacific Northwest Hip & Knee Adult Reconstruction Fellowship is offered by MultiCare Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and is designed to provide fellows with a thorough and comprehensive approach to the medical and surgical management of patients with orthopedic conditions affecting the hip or the knee.
Fellows are expected to participate in research approximately 10 percent of the time, and clinical and laboratory research opportunities are numerous. Conference schedules include a weekly joint replacement conference, a bioengineering meeting, grand rounds, X-ray conference, educational conferences, and monthly journal clubs.
This one-year fellowship begins August 1 and ends July 31. One non-ACGME-accredited fellowship position is available each year.
MultiCare’s Pacific Northwest Hip & Knee Adult Reconstruction Fellowship accepts applications through the SF Match Program.
Applicants must have a current Washington State Medical License and be board-eligible, with the satisfactory completion of an approved orthopedic residency training program. This requires four years of ACGME-accredited training in the United States or Canada and completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
For more information on the requirements for obtaining a Washington State Medical License, please visit the Washington Medical Commission Physician (MD) Application.
