MultiCare pays for Life Safety Certifications for employees who require certain certifications for their job. Employees can visit the Register for Life Safety page on the Education Services site on MHSnet for more details on class offerings and how to register.
Contracted employees such as traveler and agency nurses must pay for their life safety certifications as an out of pocket expense. Contracted employees and the community are welcome to use Newcastle Training Center for their certifications.

Textbooks for life safety classes can be borrowed from your direct leader or from a designated resource within your unit/clinic. Employees who would like to purchase their own textbooks may do so while registering online. Textbook purchases cannot be reimbursed by MultiCare.
Course registration MUST be canceled at least 24 hours prior to the course start time. MultiCare WILL NOT authorize payment for additional courses if this policy is not followed. Cancellations can be made through the Newcastle Training website or call Newcastle Training at 425-488-3730 (M-F 9am - 5pm)
