Name: Marie Cadwell Meyer
Hometown: Richland, WA
Undergrad: California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo
Medical School: PNWU
Philosophy of Care: Teach. Educate. Inform. Empower patients to understand their bodies, develop a sense of ownership and active participation in their health and work collaboratively to address their overall well-being.
Why did you choose EPFM residency? To be part of the foundational structure of a new residency. To work with faculty and staff that had prior experience working with and in a residency (Tacoma Family Medicine). It is a full-spectrum, unopposed program in a beautiful hospital located in a small town with big city access.
Medical Interests: In-office procedures, continuity OB and delivering babies, and educating patients (lots of pictures!).
Personal interests/hobbies: Refining my sommelier's palate alongside my dreamy husband, resurrecting second-hand furniture, hiking, biking and camping in the breathtaking Pacific Northwest, travelling distant lands, family-style meals with my stylish family, and watching ATP tennis in high-definition at 1/4 speed slow motion.
