Helpful Information About Your Child's Hospital Stay

Going to the hospital can be a confusing and stressful time for children and parents. At Mary Bridge, we want to make your experience as comfortable as possible. Click on the following links for useful information to help you before, during and after your child’s stay at Mary Bridge.

What to Bring and What Not to Bring
Find out what you should bring to make your child more comfortable during their hospital stay at Mary Bridge.

Where Should I Stay?
You are welcome to stay overnight with your child. A chair bed with linens is available for one adult to sleep at their child’s bedside in the medical-surgical units. Kitchens and showers are also available. Limited Family Housing may be available for families with children in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). The PICU social worker can assist in making these arrangements.

MultiCare Tree House: A Place for Families is nearby lodging for families of hospitalized children at Mary Bridge so immediate family can remain close to their child and participate in their care. ;Tree House is located across the street from the hospital and is supported through generous community donations. A hospital social worker, nurse or physician can assist in making these arrangements.
