Symptoms of Menopause

As menopause approaches, ovulation slows down and hormone levels in the body change, which can cause many uncomfortable symptoms. 

If you’re going through menopause, you will experience unique and individualized symptoms that may include:

  • Changes in the frequency and intensity of your period
  • Changes in desire for sex and intimacy
  • Difficulty remembering and thinking clearly
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Heart palpitations
  • Insomnia and frequent waking during the night
  • Mood disturbances, such as anxiety and depression
  • Night sweats or hot flashes
  • Vaginal dryness and pain
  • Weight gain
