Fight the Flu! Get your Flu Shot at MultiCare

Drop-in flu vaccinations will be offered at MultiCare Auburn Clinic on Saturday, January 18 from 9am-3pm. No appointment necessary. Flu shots are available to everyone aged 6 months and older (MultiCare provider not required). While flu vaccines are covered by most insurance plans, call your insurance company if you have any questions, and please bring your insurance card with you. If you do not have insurance, vaccinations cost $38, payable at time of service.

Why Get a Flu Shot?

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every year for two reasons:

  1. There are many different flu viruses and the viruses are constantly changing, so flu vaccines may be updated from one season to the next to protect against the most recent and most commonly circulating viruses.
  2. A person’s immune protection from vaccination declines over time, so annual vaccination is needed for optimal protection.
