MultiCare names new chief financial officer
Anna Loomis has been named the new chief financial officer for Tacoma-based MultiCare Health System.
Loomis, who has worked at MultiCare for 12 years, fills the position following a national search. She joined MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in 2002 serving as Controller and has taken on roles with increasing responsibility within the organization including as the vice president of finance. Most recently, Loomis served as the interim CFO.

As CFO, Loomis will oversee the financial and business operations for the health system as well as work with health insurance providers.
Loomis received her Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting degree from Pacific Lutheran University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is completing her Masters of Business Administration degree this year.
Loomis is married to Geoff Loomis, the head baseball coach at Pacific Lutheran University, and has three children.
MultiCare is a not-for-profit, locally based health care system comprising four adult hospitals, one pediatric hospital and a network of primary, specialty and urgent care clinics. MultiCare is the largest private employer in Pierce County and one of the largest health systems in the South Sound.
