MultiCare's purchase of Immediate Clinic closed Sunday
Immediate Clinic Seattle, Inc. officially became part of MultiCare Health System on Sunday, Dec. 11.
MultiCare and Immediate Clinic announced in September that the 14 Immediate Clinic locations in the Puget Sound region will become part of MultiCare’s robust network of urgent care clinics serving Western Washington.
“We believe that urgent care services are an important and necessary part of our health care continuum,” said Bill Robertson, President and CEO of MultiCare Health System. “MultiCare is dedicated to expanding access to these health care access points through a growing network of locations in King, Pierce, Thurston, Snohomish and Kitsap counties. Immediate Clinic offers an excellent option for consumers in the Puget Sound area who want quick access to health care.”
Michael Dalton, President and CEO of Immediate Clinic, said "We are very proud of what our Immediate Clinic team has created, which is one of the largest and most respected urgent care platforms in the Seattle area.” He added, “We are excited to pass the torch to MultiCare and are confident that they will be able to combine their resources with our amazing team of leaders and caregivers to make these state-of-the-art urgent care clinics even better.”
MultiCare operates 15 urgent care clinics in the Puget Sound region. This year, MultiCare debuted a new urgent care brand called MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care as part of the organization’s plan to grow its geographic footprint and respond to the changing needs of consumers.
Immediate Clinic provides professional, affordable urgent care services to the greater Seattle area at their 14 state of the art walk-in clinics. Clinics are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, 8am-8pm. For more information visit the Immediate Clinic website.
