Recipe: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a green smoothie

This frothy drink is a delightful and simple anytime smoothie. Lacinato Kale, a beautiful green rich in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and minerals, boosts the nutritional profile of this recipe and to promote longevity.
Pineapple is loaded with the enzyme bromelain — a potent, natural anti-inflammatory. Pineapple consumption can also help reduce swelling, tenderness, and pain, minimizing the effects of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and osteo/rheumatoid arthristis after exercise.
Ingredients
1 cup almond milk
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup chopped kale, stem removed
1 cup ice
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
Juice of one lime
Stevia to taste
In a blender, add almond milk, lime juice, ice, pineapple, kale, flaxseed and stevia. Blend to combine.
