The first robotic-assisted surgery was performed this week at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center. The procedure, a robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy, was performed by Dr. Roque Lanza and assisted by Dr. David Minehan, who are longtime experts with the da Vinci Surgical System.
