What to Expect

Care Designed for Your Unique Needs

If our team at MultiCare Spine Services determines that you would benefit from spine surgery, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our spine surgeons about your individual condition and  for more details about the type of surgery that would best suit your needs. You'll be able to ask any questions you might have about the procedure, expected outcome, and recovery time.

If you decide to move forward, our surgical team will coordinate your day of surgery and schedule preoperative appointments for medical clearance.

After surgery, many patients are able to go home the same day or benefit from a short hospital stay depending on the complexity of the procedure.

For all patients, following a comprehensive rehabilitation program after surgery is crucial for optimum recovery. After your procedure, our Physical Therapy team will help you follow a plan of care designed for your specific needs and goals, so that you can return as quickly as possible to the activities you care about most.
