What to Expect

Care Designed for Your Unique Needs

If our team at MultiCare Spine Services determines that you would benefit from spine surgery, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our spine surgeons about your condition and get details about the type of surgery that would best suit your needs. You'll be able to ask any questions you might have about the procedure, expected outcome, and recovery time.

If you decide to move forward, our surgical team will help coordinate preoperative appointments for medical clearance and the day of surgery.

After surgery, many patients are able to go home the same day. Those undergoing more complex procedures may benefit from a short hospital stay.

All patients should follow a comprehensive rehabilitation program after surgery, which is crucial for optimal recovery. After your procedure, Physical Therapy will help you follow a plan of care designed for your specific needs and goals, enabling you to return to the activities you love as quickly as possible.
