Therapies to complement your cancer treatment

Chaplaincy services

MultiCare’s chaplaincy program supportively nurtures the spiritual and emotional well-being of our community. Chaplains are trained to interact with individuals and families in a spiritual and culturally sensitive manner, to help them find healing and new meaning in the midst of their circumstances. Chaplains are committed to collaborative work as part of the health care team, working together to care for patients and families, as well as to support our doctors and hospital staff.

Chaplains are available to respond to urgent requests at our hospitals at any time of the day or night, and any hospital staff member can connect patients and families to chaplains in those circumstances. To make an appointment to speak with one of our chaplains, please call:

Naturopathic medicine

A school of medical philosophy that seeks to maintain health and treat disease by assisting the body’s own capacity to recover from illness and injury. Licensed naturopathic doctors try to avoid surgery and synthetic substances in their treatments and strive to treat the patient as a whole person using natural foods and remedies, counseling and environmental medicine.

Patients may self-refer for naturopath services, but insurance coverage may vary, so check with your insurance provider before scheduling an appointment.
