Our Team

Led by Experts in the Field

MultiCare’s Sleep Medicine team includes compassionate, experienced professionals from a variety of disciplines. Led by doctors board-certified in sleep medicine, we are committed to providing leading-edge, comprehensive care — from testing and diagnosing your sleep disorder to your treatment and follow-up care. Our team includes the following experts:

  • Sleep Specialists are doctors who have expertise in an area such as neurology (the brain and nervous system) or pulmonary medicine (the respiratory system). They also receive rigorous training in diagnosing and managing chronic sleep problems. These specialists are all board-certified in sleep medicine.
  • Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) consult with patients, coordinate care and provide education about sleep disorders among many other responsibilities.
  • Registered Sleep Technologists conduct the testing our doctors use to diagnose sleep disorders. They also show patients how to perform home studies for sleep apnea.
