Checking into MultiCare Valley Hospital can be quick and stress-free — if you take a little time to prepare. Follow the links below for some tips and lists that will help you (and us) make the process a little easier.


Completing paperwork before you arrive saves time and reduces stress at check-in.

Where to Go and What to Bring

Our admissions/registration desk is located on the first floor of the hospital.

Arrive on Time

When you are scheduled for an appointment at Valley Hospital, the scheduler will give you the specific time and location for you to check in and register to be admitted. If you have any questions about where to go, please call us at 509-473- 5151.

Our admitting hours are 5:30am-5:30pm.

Remember to Bring

  • All current health insurance information, including your insurance card
  • A photo ID
  • Physician orders and prescriptions for any tests you will receive
  • Referrals from your primary care physician (if your insurer requires them)
  • A payment method for deductibles and co-payments (financing is also available)
  • Your Social Security Number
  • Loose, comfortable clothes for your stay and going home
  • Personal items such as books, puzzles
  • Personal hygiene items or other items such as curling irons, radios or hair dryers
