MultiCare Welcomes Capital Medical Center

Capital Medical Center

Your Committed Health Care Partner

As of April 1, 2021, Capital Medical Center in Olympia became part of MultiCare Health System, now called MultiCare Capital Medical Center. We’re excited to have the opportunity to care for more people in Olympia and its surrounding communities.

MultiCare has offered an array of services in the region since the late 1990s when we opened a Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital satellite clinic in Olympia. Today the services we provide in the greater Olympia area include pediatric care, laboratory services, OB/GYN care, orthopedics and sports medicine, cardiac care through Pulse Heart Institute and urgent care services at a number of Indigo Urgent Care locations.

It has been MultiCare’s privilege to serve the Thurston County region for the last two decades. MultiCare Capital Medical Center is yet another step forward in our long history of expanding access to care and services for our patients and communities and staying true to our mission of partnering for healing and a healthy future.

MultiCare is a not-for-profit health care organization that’s been caring for communities in Washington state since the founding of Tacoma’s first hospital in 1882. With more than 20,000 team members, including employees, providers and volunteers, we’ve grown from a Tacoma-centric, hospital-based organization into the largest, not-for-profit, community-based, locally-owned health system in the state of Washington. If you would like to know more about MultiCare we encourage you to visit our About MultiCare page.
