We offer a full spectrum of classes and programs designed to help you prepare for a new addition to the family and feel confident in delivering and caring for your newborn.
Every person learns differently. Because of that, we offer different types of class options – online, in-person, or virtual group classes - depending on how you best learn.
Please call 800-342-9919 to register by phone or click below to register online. With all classes, a birth partner can attend at no additional charge - the partner’s information is entered at the time of registration.
Online classes are in a self-paced, easy-to-navigate online format with no live instruction, so you can do the program at your convenience.
After registering, you will receive an email with information on how to access your class – usually within one business day.

This class offers childbirth information in text, animation, videos and eleven printable handouts. View at your own pace - total average viewing time is four to six hours.
Topics covered include pregnancy, labor, birth stories, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean birth, and newborn and postpartum care.

An overview of the information you need to prepare for and begin your breastfeeding journey. View at your own pace - total viewing time is usually two to three hours.
Topics covered include the preparation for and process of breastfeeding, best latch techniques, hand expression of milk, how often and how long to feed and how to solve common breastfeeding challenges.

This class covers what to expect in the early weeks and months of parenting. View at your own pace – total viewing time is usually two to three hours.
Topics covered include how to interpret your baby’s behavior and cues, comforting techniques, feeding best practices, diapering, and health and safety information.

Virtual group classes are similar to in-person classes, at a set date and time, but are conducted via online video teleconference with a qualified instructor. Instructions are sent prior to class.
A “just the basics” class for those with busy schedules or who desire a class that moves quickly. This is an eight-hour class with a lunch break.
The primary focus of this class is to prepare you and your birth partner for childbirth – including comfort techniques and medication options - but we will also touch on postpartum care, breastfeeding and newborn care.

This class covers comprehensive childbirth information, but moves at a quicker pace over two weekend days. Each class day is six-and-a-half hours with a lunch break.

If you want a comprehensive class covering everything, with plenty of time to have all your questions answered, this class is for you. This series includes two-and-a-half-hour classes for twelve-and-a-half hours total series time.
Topics covered include pregnancy, birth, comfort techniques, medications for birth, cesarean birth, postpartum care, breastfeeding and newborn care. This class offers the most practice with nonmedication pain relief techniques.

This one-night, three-hour class offers in-depth preparation for what to expect from your newborn and how to best care for them when you get home from the hospital.
Topics include sleeping, feeding, diapering, bathing and safety issues, with extra time to answer your questions.

This one-night class offers information about the benefits and the “how to” of breastfeeding.
Topics include overcoming common difficulties, strategies for successful breastfeeding and returning to work.

The Conscious Fathering course empowers new fathers with practical, hands-on skills that they can use to help bond with and care for their new baby. This class is one evening for two hours and forty-five minutes.
Topics include how to soothe a fussy baby, diaper changes, sleep safety, and how to adjust to having a new baby in the family.

This workshop will help you successfully navigate your way through the transition to parenthood and is open to anyone during pregnancy or in the first 18 months of parenthood. Each class day is six hours.
Topics include how to increase relationship satisfaction between parents, decrease the risk of postpartum depression and improve co-parenting skills while meeting the emotional and psychological needs of your child.

In-person classes are held at prescheduled times with a qualified instructor.
For your safety during COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions including limiting class sizes, requiring masks, enforcing social distancing and promoting hand hygiene. Email our program director if you have any questions.
If you prefer a private childbirth class, this three-hour one-on-one session covers the prenatal education topics you select. Time and subjects are arranged with the instructor.
This class may be offered in-person or as a virtual class via online video teleconference, per your request. You can request to be taught by a certified instructor who is also a doula if you prefer a doula’s perspective.
